description | This paper deals with the modelling and optimization of health care management with particular reference to the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet problem in a neutrosophic environment. We have considered the degree of acceptance, indeterminacy, and rejection of objectives to express the DASH diet problem's vulnerability in modelling. Further, neutrosophic goal programming (NGP) by considering three different types of membership functions have been used to minimize the sum of deviation from the set goal. A case study has been discussed to determine an appropriate DASH diet based on cost and user preferences. The results indicated that goal programming (GP) and fuzzy goal programming (FGP) approach failed to provide the value of all the concerned decision variables related to different types of food. However, we can get all the concerned decision variables valuable for diet problems through NGP. The application developed in this study is a problem of optimization that provides users with a daily diet that contains all the necessary amounts of supplements with less expense. The fundamental fact of the DASH diet is not only to shed blood pressure however to decrease the circulatory strain of the body, and so that it can likewise enable the individuals who need to get in shape, lessen Cholesterol, and counteract diabetes. |
