Description
Summary:Caesarean section ectopic pregnancy is a rare condition which is defined as a new gestational sac located in the previous caesarean section. The incidence is increasing in recent years due to the increase in the number of cesarean sections and the development of sonographic examination. Magnetic resonance imaging can be helpful as a problem solver in cases of difficulty in diagnosis. There are various management options ranging from medical treatment to surgical treatment. In this study, we present transabdominal ultrasonography and MR imaging findings and treatment strategies used in cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy with a brief review of the current literature.
