Description
Summary:The article is structured in three parts. Initially, it defines a series of frameworks to delineate the morpho-genetic background of the emergence and consolidation of infrastructural and platform capitalism. Secondly, it outlines the current characteristics of platforms and infrastructures, their mutual articulation, and their relationship with a constellation of other powers. The third section discusses the terms through which the power described by the convergence of “platformization of infrastructures” and “infrastructuring of platforms” defines unprecedented forms compared to the past, advancing three analytical proposals: the need to “overcome” the codification of “infrastructural power”, the emergence of “algorithmic power”, and its “dual” nature.
