description In this report the first two cases of travel-associated Legionnaires’ disease in Turkey were discussed. It is known that 24 and 30 years old, previously healthy sisters had stayed in a hotel in central Anatolia, just ten days before admission to the hospital with fever, cough and weakness symptoms. Their serum samples were examined by indirect fluorescent antibody assay for the presence of Legionella antibodies. In both cases Legionella pneumophila antibodies were found to be positive in high titers, as 1/256 and 1/1024 respectively.
