The world is witnessing medical developments in the field of disease treatment, and the development of means of prevention, which led to an increase in life expectancy at birth, and this is why the age exceeded (eighty years) in some countries (1), including third world countries, as there are more than half of the elderly in the world living in countries Developing countries (2).. Which called attention to issues related to the social well-being of this group, as it was found that demographic changes are more rapid in developing countries, and that the percentage of the elderly is higher in the Arab region, as their percentage reached 5.6% in 1999 and is expected to reach 6.8% in 2025 and 12.5% in 2050. This increase can be attributed to a number of factors, including the decrease in infant mortality rates and the improvement of nutrition and health conditions
