Summary:The fauna of eviphidoid mites was investigated during 2018–2019 in Damavand County, Tehran Province. Soil samples were collected randomly from different sites and the edaphic mites were extracted using Berlese-Tullgren funnels. The specimens were observed under a phasecontrast microscope. Twenty species belong to 14 genera, and four families (Eviphididae, Macrochelidae, Pachylaelapidae, and Parholaspididae) were identified. All species are recorded for the first time from Damavand County and six species are new for mite fauna of Tehran Province.
