Le public féminin du théâtre grec. A propos de la Lysistrata d’Aristophane
In Aristophanes the audience may be drawn into action: this is made easy by propinquity of place. It is a reasonable surmise that women were admitted in the audience. This paper analyzes Lysistrata vv. 42ss. where seems possible that Calonice is speaking to women sit down in the cavea.
