Description
Summary:In this article we draw on some of the diverse processes of change in Higher Education deriving from the implementation of the global political and economical dynamics, and the relating strategies of transnational cooperation. In this context, mercantilization, internationalization, virtualization and convergence are some of the phenomena cast out with regard to higher education. We particularly focus the relationship between the above mentioned global processes and the opportunities open by cooperation, in societies which higher educational systems are highly diversified, like is the case of Latin America and Europe.
