description The article is devoted to the problem of studying poetic texts of Russian writers in Russian language classes with natural bilingualism. The aim of our research was to justify, develop and experimentally test the methodology of teaching students to read lyrics, taking into account the peculiarities of perception of fiction texts in Russian by bilingual schoolchildren living outside Russia. The work considers the stages of studying lyrics and skills, which are formed in the process of working on artworks on the example of V. Mayakovsky’s poem “Good Attitudes towards Horses” and its translations into Greek by translators Georgios Moleskis and Petros Anteos, and also substantiates the effectiveness of the methodology used.
