Summary: | This article examines the consequences of the deconstruction of master signifiers in contemporary cultural and social discourses. The fact that these signifiers have been dismantled has had as a consequence the explosion of multiple forms of identification attached to also multiple ways of emjouissance/em which vindicate their right to their own way of emjouissance/em. As opposed to modern identity discourses, psychoanalysis observes that emjouissance/em is particular to every subject. |
