As evidenced by the rise of industries, and prosperity, and tastes and development. In the arts, colors are among the finest pages in the Islamic art record that justify the genius and originality of a Muslim artist in industry and art. This study aims at defining the colors and their manifestations in the Islamic civilization and the aesthetic aspects that they occupy in the manuscripts. There are different definitions of the word color in many linguistic dictionaries. , And literary sources provided abundant information, and perhaps the most extensive material on colors found in the books of translations in the Koran came colors in terms of expression and symbolic and sensory and the word color and derivatives in nine verses of the Koran. The Qur'an mentioned six colors: white, green, black, yellow, blue and red. The study explores the technical features of the colors in some of the graphic schools and their symbolism. The Arab school flourished in the first of the Islamic photography schools in the decoration of colored manuscripts since the 6th century AH / 12 AD, and spread its artistic centers as local branches throughout the Islamic world. In Syria, Egypt and Iran, especially during the Seljuks of Iran, and long lived side by side with the Mogul school. The Arab school also extended to North Africa and Andalusia.
