An effort is made to sketch such a dynamical model for the townscape of a contemporary megapolis on the basis of analogy between urban and verbal texts.

Miestas – pagal tam tikrus objektyvius dėsningumus besivystantis, daugiaveidis ir daugiaformis, dinamiškas kultūrinis organizmas, į kurio formuojamą miestovaizdį gali būti žvelgiama kaip į kultūrinį artefaktą – savotišką išorinės, iš dalies autonomiškos sąmonės formą, kuriai reikia atitinkamų formavimo modelių. Taikant analogiją su verbaliniu tekstu, straipsnyje siekiama apibrėžti šių dienų megapolio miestovaizdžio dinaminio modelio preliminarias gaires
