description The purpose of this study was to present a model of strategies for reducing social harm among students with emphasis on leisure time from the perspective of sport teachers and school principals with a mixed-methods approach. In the current research, data collection method was descriptive-survey and mixed-methods with exploratory-sequential design. The research participants in the first (qualitative) part of the study, i.e., in the field interview were outstanding professors of sport management, specialists in school sports and leisure time, professors of sociology, as well as Kermānshāh selected sport teachers and school principals (n=13). They were selected for qualitative interviews on the research topic purposefully and the selection of participants continued up to theoretical saturation. In the second (quantitative) part of the study, after collecting the qualitative data, a questionnaire (consisting of 40 items in 5 components) was developed and it was distributed among the Kermānshāh sport teachers and school principals (n= 334) who were selected using random clustering method. The validity and reliability of both versions of interview questions and questionnaires were confirmed. The results of the present study showed that the strategies include infrastructure (facilities and executive), internal factors (cultural incentives, collective incentives and attitudes), socio-cultural (culturalization, public participation and social encouragement), software (knowledge and human resources) and behavioral (personal and social) resources.
