description Qatar Blockade poses unprecedented political problem for the GCC with its procedures, causes, motives and developments. The crisis erupted on three basic assumptions: the support of USA under President Trump, the support of public opinion and employing strong sudden pressure that would force Doha to "change its behavior". Definitely, the blockading states’ behavior contradicts international conventions. On the other hand, Doha's position exercises her right to protect its citizens. The Arab, regional, and international circles were supportive to Qatar. Moreover, Qatar's rapid response to absorb and contain the blockade effects has had a major impact in changing the perceptions of the blockading countries about the possibility of resolving the crisis. The aim of this study is to identify the types, significance and feasibility of mediation efforts offered by various countries, and to assess the crisis impact on the future of GCC and on the prospects of a future solution.
