| Summary: | Historical Personal Names of the Kiersnowski Family from the Podlasie Region in the 16th–17th Century.
The subject of this study is the description of the historical personal names of the Kiersnowski family from the Podlasie region. The Kiersnowski surname, first names, nicknames and patronymic formations identifying members of this family were subjected to anthroponymous analysis. The chronological scope of research covers the span of two centuries, including a period from the beginning of the 16th to the end of the 17th century. The following selection is dictated by a fact that many historical sources from this period have survived. In addition, some processes that brought about significant changes in the local anthroponymous microsystem can be observed.
