description The present study was conducted upon 170 government and private school teachers of Punjab, India. Instruments used were Oxford Happiness Questionnaire by Argyle and Hills, Rosenberg’s self-esteem Questionnaire, and Psychological Well-Being Scale by Bhogle and Prakash. The data analysis was done using Jamovi software to get S.D and t values. The results showed no difference in the happiness level of the teachers of the government and private schools, and happiness significantly impacts the psychological well-being of teachers moderated by self-esteem. The study further mentions the limitations and future recommendations.
