Summary:Starting from the assumption that a fashion show may be considered as images, this paper provides a genealogy of processes of fashion artification, that is, the fashion expression as artistic value rather than a mere marketing tool. To this end, we analyze the Deliverance fashion show by British designer Alexander McQueen, in which the artificated image is transformed in sound image as means to manage the communicative potential of the show-performance.
