Description
Summary:This study investigates the effects of digital financial inclusion on partial agricultural productivity for a panel of 18 Sub-Saharan African countries selected for the 2015-2020 period. To this end, secondary data were estimated using the generalized method of moments in dynamic panel. The results show that digital financial inclusion (measured by access and use of mobile money financial services) contributes significantly to the growth of partial agricultural productivity. These findings suggest that agricultural transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa can be stimulated by promoting digital financial services according to the needs of local farmers.
