Description
Summary:The book, "Practice of Qualitative Research", is an introduction to qualitative research. It is a mixture of practical instruction for doing qualitative research, a theoretical framing of the subject, reflections of researchers about their research projects, and a post modern self-positioning of the authors. This means the book also emphasizes the self-reflexive process for each researcher working in a qualitative research project within the social and human sciences. In a highly creative manner and readable style, the authors lead us through methodological assumptions and introduce the US-American discourse of qualitative social research—which is, it has to be said, the discourse within this book should be understood.
