| description | A través del estudio de un conjunto de urnas de Estilo Negro sobre Rojo tardío, planteamos la temática de las relaciones intergrupales en espacios fronterizos de naturaleza múltiple. La muestra se compone de 43 vasijas, en las que notamos una conjunción de elementos presentes en los estilos Santa María y Belén. A partir de un análisis estilístico y contextual trataremos de dilucidar cuáles fueron las dinámicas sociales que motivaron esta combinación. Estas urnas se ubicarían en los momentos inmediatamente anteriores o contemporáneos a la presencia efectiva de los inkas en el Noroeste Argentino, perdurando hasta el inicio de la conquista española. Así, reflexionamos acerca de la dinámica de la expansión inkaica en la región surandina, planteando que las transformaciones relacionadas con este proceso comenzarían a desarrollarse con anterioridad a la llegada de los representantes del Tawantinsuyu.<br>Through the study of a particular group of Black on Red late urns, we examine the issue of multifaceted intergroup relationships in border areas. The sample is composed of 43 vessels in which we noticed an interesting blend of Santa María and Belén stylistic elements. Through a stylistic and contextual analysis, we attempt to explain the social dynamics behind this combination. The urns are dated immediately prior to or contemporary with the presence of the Inka in Northwest Argentina, up to the first Spanish conquest of the area. Using this case study, we will reflect on the dynamic of the Inka expansion in the South-Andean region, proposing that the transformation that resulted from the Imperial expansion would have begun before the arrival of the representatives of Tawantinsuyu. |
