| Summary: | (ES) La experiencia que presentamos es una aplicación didáctica del patrimonio histórico del
Instituto-Escuela (1918-1936), conservado en el Instituto “Isabel la Católica”. La realizamos con
nuestros alumnos de 4º de ESO a lo largo del curso 2012-2013 con dos objetivos: que conocieran
las innovaciones educativas del Instituto-Escuela, y en concreto cómo se enseñaba en él la
Geografía, e iniciarlos en la investigación histórica. Para llevar a cabo su trabajo, nuestros
alumnos utilizaron los cuadernos de clase del antiguo alumnado del Instituto-Escuela, analizando
sus contenidos y la metodología empleada por los profesores para el aprendizaje de la Geografía. // (EN) The experience we are presenting is a didactic application of the historical heritage of the
Instituto-Escuela (1918-1936), preserved at the Institute “Isabel La Católica”. We did it with our
students of 4th year of Secondary Education along the year 2012-2013. The experience had two
objectives: they knew the educational innovations in the school and to be more precise how
geography was taught in it and to introduce to historical research. To carry out their work, our
students used notebooks from former students of the school, by analyzing their contents and the
methodology used to learn geography by teachers.
