| Summary: | <p>The article investigates the process of formation of culture of interethnic communication of school youth in multiethnic regions by the results of large-scale longitudinal studies conducted from 1991 to the present time in Astrakhan, Grozny, Ivanovo, Krasnodar, Maikop, Makhachkala, Moscow, Nazran, Nalchik, Pskov, Stavropol. The views, positions and motives of young people, their attitude to representatives of other nationalities, the potential of their conflict and tolerance are analyzed. The study has no analogues in our country and abroad. <br>Continuous ethnoconflictological monitoring is carried out within the framework of the international project «Dialogue partnership as a factor of stability and integration» and the program «Youth in multi-ethnic regions: views, positions, orientations» in order not only to know how the civil formation and ethnic formation of young people in different regions, but also to provide appropriate and timely influence in order to reduce the conflict potential and the formation of tolerance.</p>
