| description | The paper proves the necessity of determining the long-run reasons of inflation processes in Russia. The following step defines the set of factors, included in the research, having qualitative impact on the price level. Applying econometric methodology, qualitative and quantitative long-term connections between the considered indicators are revealed. The paper provides the example of the algorithm for the sequence of calculations automated by the author in the programming environment of a package of applied programmes. Further, a short review of the basic investigation phases of long-run dependence of the goods and services price level on the changes of various macroeconomic aggregated indicators at the federal and regional levels (the example of the Altai Kray) is given. In conclusion, the economic interpretation of research is provided and some suggestions for use of research results to control and regulate inflation processes at the federal and regional levels are made. |
