description This paper summarizes the scientific discussion on the issue of public-private partnership in the health care sector. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the nature of public-private partnership as the progressive form of innovative and investment mechanism in Ukrainian health care sector, taking into the consideration the international experience in this sphere. The systematization of literary sources and approaches for solving the problem of public-private partnership indicates that this issue is of great interest. The key methods used in the conducted research are data analysis, summarization and comparison. The data synthesis and analysis are the basic value-added elements of this research, which could help find out the main prospective of public-private partnership model use in Ukrainian health care sector. The object of the research is Ukrainian health care sector. This financial model is considered as the pledge of sustainable and innovative development of the national health care. The distinctive features of public-private partnership in contrast with other partnership models, such as privatization and public procurements, are reviewed. The classification of international models of infrastructure projects within public-private partnership is provided. The models of public-private partnership are ranked in accordance with the levels of private and public involvement and risk-sharing between them. The author gives the policy recommendations to the enterprises for providing the effective realization of public-private partnership agreement.
