Summary: | We present an investigation section in which we analyze the curriculum of Mathematics presented for the Education of Young and Adults. The research, with a qualitative approach, was developed through documentary analysis based on the analysis of two collections of Math ematics textbooks destined to the EJA. In this section we focus on the elements that the books present concerning the principles on which the curricula should be designed in order to prompt to the students an integration of mathematical cultural values bas ed on the ideas of mathematical enculturation and the ways in which the organization of the contents are presented, whether linear or networked. The reflections show us that the investigated books present, in some approaches, elements that favor the integr ation of cultural values in Mathematics. We also observed a tendency to organize the mathematical contents in such a way as to stimulate an articulation among the themes.
