Description
Summary:In order to promote the green coordinated development of China’s marine economy, based on the SBM model considering unexpected output, this paper calculated the marine green economic efficiency of 11 coastal regions in China from 2007 to 2016. The Kernel density estimation method and economic growth convergence theory were used to investigate its dynamic evolution and convergence characteristics. The results showed that the overall efficiency of China’s marine green economy was rising first and then declining, and there was still a large space for efficiency growth. There was a spatial unevenness in the efficiency of China’s marine green economy, and regional differences were generally on a declining trend. Meanwhile, the efficiency of China’s marine green economy existed σconvergence, β convergence and club convergence characteristics. Based on the results of the study, recommendations were put forward: strengthening the construction of marine ecological civilization and vigorously developing marine green economy; implementing differentiated marine economic green development strategies to narrow the efficiency differences; breaking the barriers of regional boundaries and building a synergistic marine green development pattern.
