Description
Summary:Sarcomatiodes carcinomas that originate in the renal pelvis are uncommon neoplasms. All previously published cases have been isolated cases and were characterized by poor prognosis. The case of a 60 year-old patient is reported and the clinical, radiological and histological aspects are described. In the medical literature in English, some 127 cases of carcinosarcoma located in the urogenital tract have been described in the last fifty years; considering that only nine originated in the pelvis, it is possible to understand the importance of this case.
