Summary:The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of playdough media usage toward beginning writing skills for a student with intellectual disability. This research was using a Single Subject Research (SSR) with ABAB design. The research subject was a student with moderate (can be trained) intellectual disability, namely NV (9 years). Based on the results of this research concluded that there was significant effect of playdough towards the writing skills of students with moderate intellectual disability. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media playdough terhadap keterampilan menulis permulaan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain subjek tunggal (SSR) dengan desain ABAB. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa tunagrahita mampu latih, yang berinisial NV (9 tahun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemanfaatan media playdough terhadap keterampilan menulis permulaan.
