Chemical composition and anti-inflammatory activity of the hydrodistillate from Mariscus pedunculatus

A mixture of the benzofuran remirol and the benzopyran isoevodionol (5.7:1) was extracted by hydrodistillation from rhizomes of Mariscus pedunculatus.
