What role do the island populations and local languages play in the tourist promotion of these destinations? How are discourses on "the Other" and the "Same" articulated within tourist discourses?Grounded in a phenomenological approach and following the traditional methodology of discursive analysis, this article provides an overview of the issue of otherness in tourist discourses related to insularity. |
