The purpose of this study was to analyze the studies on social competence and school climate published in the Web of Science database from 2014 to 2019. 56 articles were selected based on the aim of this study, these documents were analyzed with different bibliometric indicators, such as the analysis of temporal productivity, the most productive journals and authors on the topic and the co-authored index, as well as an examination and discussion of the identified themes. The results showed an increase in temporary productivity and scientific interest in the areas of classroom climate (89%) and the socio-emotional variable (45%) followed by peer violence (12, 5%) and the characterization of behavior (5.3%). In addition, a tendency was observed to perform the investigations in collaboration with a co-authorship rate of 3.5%.
