Description
Summary:In the present work, we have proposed the calibrated estimator of population mean in the presence of unit non response. The non response has been adjusted using the non response adjustment factor depending on different models (which are inverse linear, logistic and exponential) based on auxiliary information, incorporated in calibration estimation. We have studied the case of unit non response through calibration technique under three sampling designs named as simple random sampling (SRS), probability proportional to size sampling (PPS) and stratified random sampling. A broad simulation study has been conducted to evaluate the performances of the calibrated estimators in each sampling scheme.
