description Background. The problem of dependability and emergency stability of local low-power systems require attention due to the risks of energy safety for autonomous agglomerations. This attention is especially important for hard-to-reach territories of the Russian Federation. Materials and methods. The article presents an algorithm for assessing the quality of various projects of local power systems with low-power generation plants. Results and conclusions. The algorithm is based on simulation modeling of possible emergency events, damages and failures in the operation of power lines.
