description Distribution of natural gases within the Donets basin is very irregular that stipulated by the depth variation to the methane zone, degassing level of the coal measure and data on coal mines gas regime. Modern development of natural gas in the coal rock massif in the Donbas is formed due to tectonic processes that changed hypsometric levels of the structural elements and coal seams occurrence. Under activation of the tectonic movements affecting coal rock massifs there were developed new structures stipulating natural outgassing, accumulation and re-distribution of gas content. Gas potential of the coal rock massifs is formed by spatial re-distribution of metamorphogenic gases including those ones migrated upward from deeper horizons.
