In this period the conception of the carnival changed significantly, from being an evasion spectacle to a tool in the resistance movement. Special attention is given to the analysis of the the consequences of censorship in Murga spectacles, as it contributed to the consolidation of the tablado as not only a space for collective entertainment but as a space for political and aesthetic resistance. |
