| Summary: | Jules Vuillemin’s text “De la connaissance sensible et de la parité qu’elle manifeste entre l’homme et l’animal” seems to be the chapter of a book project which was never published. Vuillemin describes as “sensible knowledge” the set of material faculties common to man and animal. Sensible knowledge determines even natural sciences and philosophy.
