description Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts applied radar interferometry to produce digital elevation model for the Surveying and Mapping Authority of the Republic of Slovenia. For the production of the digital elevation model (InSAR 25) radar imagery of the European Space Agency was used. The produced InSAR 25 has a spatial resolution of 25 m and 5 m average vertical accuracy for the entire Republic of Slovenia. The result of the project is internationally important because it is one of the first cases of successful application of radar imagery for large areas digital elevation models production.
