Description
Summary:In the same way that the permanence of the ancestral primitive form can be considered as the ideal of natural order of the Theory of Natural Selection, the postulation of a virtual morphospace regularly occupied, can be considered as a satisfactory approach to the ideal of natural order of Evolutionary Developmental Biology. That's why, while the Theory of the Natural Selection provides us the means for establish the reasons of the each effective occupation of the morphospace that takes place in every morphologic innovation produced by evolution, Evolutionary Developmental Biology tries to establish the factors that, independently of natural selection, explain the fact that this occupation of the morphospace should be biased or not regular.
