| Summary: | With this analysis we seek to problematize the paths of Brazilian environmental policy in
contemporary times, noting that the current administration of the Federal Government in the figure of
President Jair Messias Bolsonaro, in 2019, adopts doubtful postures regarding the operationalization of
social order mechanisms. , environmental and economic issues that would converge to meet the rights of
all citizens and development in a fair, economically viable and ecologically sound manner. To this end, we
will make excerpts of his speeches before, during and after his participation in the President's World
Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Therefore, the yearnings for an environmental policy that meets
all the wishes of our society stand out. Another challenge is the statesman's stance that demonstrates an
ideological departure from current environmental policy discussions that can result in an abyssal conflict
of interest.
