description Abstract: The Indian Mughal photography ceremony has many important topics, through which many artistic and historical features of the Islamic civilization in India during the rule of the Mughal emperors can be deduced, and we have reached a number of these images representing bridges built on boats, whether in scenes of daily life or in scenes Fighting, the study relied on counting the models that reached us to bridge boats during Indian Mughal photography and some oriental drawings, in addition to analyzing information about it in the body of Islamic and Mughal Indian sources. This is due to the scarcity of information we have received about the boat bridge, all of this with the aim of obtaining more information about the shapes of these bridges and the methods of their construction, while studying the methods of linking them to the huge iron ropes or chains, and comparing the methods of fixing them in the river in order to resist the water flow and not disintegrate, with extracting the means The different types that were used in covering the bridge walkway, which varied between dirt, jungle, and straw, and to demonstrate the realism of what we got in terms of portrayals of boat bridges in both Mughal-Indian depictions and orientalist drawings. The descriptive and analytical approach was followed, as the study enumerated nine photographs of the boat bridge attributed to Indian Mughal photography, in addition to four drawings that he drew to foreign orientalists, and we can deduce from the pictures subject of the study the spread of the boat bridge in many Indian cities such as Delhi, Agra, Lahore and others ... The Ganges River is also one of the rivers that we have received pictures and drawings of it above Boat bridge, possibly because it is the longest river in India, in addition to its status and sacredness among the Indians.
