Summary: | Technology has advanced rapidly, and it goes to all sectors, including education. One type of technologies, Web 2.0, has been seen as a promising tool for education, including for language education. However, this has not been maximally utilized here in Indonesia. This research aims to hear the perspectives of language teachers on the use of Web 2.0 as their teaching tool. A qualitative study was conducted with thirty participants who were all language teachers. They were given a questionnaire to fill in and were interviewed for more comprehensive answers. Looking into their answers, it could be said that most teachers welcomed Web 2.0, but they might need some time to implement it.
