The purpose of this research is to establish the relationship between the components that make business ethics, built from the formal theory, and possible components which in reality are assumed in the implementation and maintenance of integrated management systems - Guidelines ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, by identifying these components, its implementation and the results of the pioneering organizations in this process, located in the Capital District of Bogotá. In the study take part nine directors who work in administration or management systems; as an instrument of data collection used semi-structured interviews and categorization is discussed as a method of analysis.
Among the findings was evidence that organizations implement integrated management systems for competitive advantage arising from certification: profitability, reputation and stay in the market. It also considers aspects such as product quality, compliance requirements and solidarity, but other aspects are perceived undervalued, underutilized or absent |
