description | One of the most significant methods of advanced technology for mining, the rock massif is employing expansive
mortar for cutting of Rock. Furthermore, the entire expansive mortar commercialized in the Brazilian domestic market
are imported, as well as those in industrialized country. Both have components from the external market. The aim of this
work is to develop expansive mortar with raw materials that have regional and pressure sufficient to remove the rocks
of granite and marble type expansion. For this, expansive grout formulations using calcium oxide, calcium carbonate,
carboxymethylcellulose are used - CMC (Portland) cement, and from the chemical analysis by means of thermal analysis,
X-ray diffraction and laser granulometry compared the results with a commercial mortar. The results indicated that the
formulations showed characteristics similar to the commercial mortar. |
