description The research was carried out in unheated greenhouse conditions in Ege University Bayindir Vocational School campus. The effect of saline conditions on some quality criteria and plant nutrient content in soilless ornamental kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala) cultivation was determined. Three different salinity levels (S0, S1, S2) were tested. For the salinity level condition that was taken into the study in the study, two separate cultivations were carried out, namely head salad and ornamental kale cultivation, in two different greenhouses. In this way, 3 salinity subjects, one of which is the salinity level of the nutrient solution drained from the head salad control application (S0: control, S1: the drainage solution taken from the subjects, S2: S1+1 dS m-1) for ornamental kale cultivation, were tried. In order to achieve the determined goal, yield and plant nutrient analysis of the leaves and root parts of the plants were carried out. The effect of salinity levels on plant height, plant diameter and visual score was found to be statistically significant. The highest values of plant height, plant diameter and visual score were determined for the lowest salinity level subjects (p<0.05). While the main effect of salinity levels on the P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn contents of ornamental kale leaves was statistically significant, the effect of salinity levels on the N and K contents of ornamental kale leaves was found to be insignificant.
