| description | In order to increase the impact of universities, the improvement in the effectiveness of the research process is fundamental, and constitutes a priority in the work of the Secretary of Higher Education, Science and Technology of Ecuador, as well as the Evaluation, Accreditation and Assurance of the Quality of Higher Education. Together with this need, there are insufficient shortcomings in the management of intellectual property protection, this being a vital subprocess for the effective development of research as a substantive process of Ecuadorian universities. That is why the article aims to: propose a set of tools for improving management in the protection of intellectual property at the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University. Bibliographic and statistical research, where the results obtained are focused on the design of tools that combine process management and risk management. |
