Description
Summary:In the introduction we summarize the ways of time perception in the history. The findings we apply by the analysis of two specific publications: short-story collection Marie Noël and novel Tobias from the marshland by Sylvie Germain. These works were inspired by The Bible. Here we can discover several layers of time and space, its transformation, transparency and message: biblical level, level of the story, certain timelessness, and generality of handed over values. Simple, known story is here updated and implanted to the present time. We speculate about following problem: Can be inner space of heroes, their struggles and identity searching greater than real space and time, which is around them. We study, how time and space of their ancestors determinate their behavior. Can we talk about reflection of eternity in literature?
