Description
Summary:In power system, the study of optimal power flow (OPF) with transient stability constrained (TSC) of the mixed AC/DC networks is a big and celebrated challenging optimization problem. Because, of its effort and high complexity in its solution, this paper presents an efficient method to resolve its problem. The goal of standard OPF is to minimize the objective function necessary for a good service of network, under normal operation with respects the number of equality and inequality constraints. But the main objective function of transient stability constrained optimal power flow (TSC-OPF) is minimization of fuel cost for all generators with preserving the rotor angle deviation within acceptable limits after credible contingencies (fault). The integration of static var compensator (SVC), and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) link and transient stability problem in the OPF will be the major defy. The simulations are carried out in Matlab environment, the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method is verified on the standard IEEE 14-bus test system with different objectives.
