Summary:This text is the conference, by Irene Viparelli in the Karl Marx Congress that happened in November, 2008 at Nova Lisboa University. The author examines the theoretical elaboration of Marx in the highlights of the historical events occurred between 1848 and 1851, specially the relation between crisis and revolution. The purpose of the publishing is to claim the marxism as a social and knowledge theory alive and present, because it’s historical. As development in thinking of the whole conflicts that the humanity lives in the social formations of the living way, the marxism contributes for the qualified debate of the current crisis of the capitalism and it constitutes a subsidy for the social practices that allow its improvement, the socialism.
