Summary:The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the legal regulation of the use and development of artificial intelligence for the space area and the related issues of observation of fundamental human rights. Some approaches to the definition of artificial intelligence and the peculiarities of legislative provision of the corresponding area are considered. The authors concluded that, in order to regulate the use of artificial intelligence and space technologies, an international treaty should be adopted under the auspices of the United Nations, which would cover the creation of a law enforcement international agency monitoring artificial intelligence the observation of basic human rights in the specified area.
