Description
Summary:Since 2008, mooks (dense magazines focused on a more long-form, often narrative, style of journalism) have been multiplying in French-speaking Europe, targeting readers willing to spend more time and money to get their information. This article presents the results of a survey conducted on mook readers—mainly XXI and 24h01—to identify their mook reading habits, as well as their sociodemographic profiles, media and information consumption habits, and relationship with narratives and books. The author provides an initial detailed overview (of a portion) of mook readers, while raising new questions and hypotheses about this audience.
